Metal Braces

Traditional metal braces are still the most popular orthodontic treatment—and for good reason. They’re durable, cost-effective, and capable of treating almost any orthodontic condition effectively. In addition, modern braces of today are much smaller and more comfortable than braces of the past. Metal braces are an excellent option for almost anyone seeking orthodontic treatment.

Clear Braces

Clear braces, also called ceramic braces, use the same basic mechanism as metal braces with one key difference: instead of stainless steel, the brackets of clear braces are made from a transparent ceramic composite. This allows the braces to blend in with teeth, providing a more appealing appearance. While clear braces are slightly more fragile than metal braces, they are just as effective.

Invisalign does away with brackets and wires all together. Instead, this technique uses a series of clear aligners to straighten the teeth. The aligners are virtually invisible when worn, and because they're completely removable, it's easy to pop them out for eating, drinking, and oral hygiene. Invisalign aligners are also smooth to the touch, meaning they won't cause the irritation or discomfort that braces sometimes can.

Invisalign Teen

Specifically for the teenage lifestyle, Invisalign Teen comes with all the advantages of traditional treatment, with a few features designed just for teens:

  • Wear Indicators: The indicators that let doctors, parents, and teens themselves know if they're wearing the aligners long enough or need to be more diligent.
  • Eruption Tabs: Special "eruption tabs" hold open space for unerupted teeth to fully come through.
  • Replacement Aligners: Every Invisalign Teen treatment course comes with 6 free replacement aligners, so you don't have to worry if any are lost or broken.
